South St. Paul is immediately south and southeast of Minnesota’s capital city of Saint Paul. It is also southeast of West St. Paul, MN. The population was 20,167 at the 2000 census.  The City of South St. Paul, designated as an All American City in 1990, prides itself on a rich history of ethnic diversity and a strong work ethic.  It remains a place with an active citizenry and a strong sense of community.

South St. Paul is one of the undiscovered treasures on the banks of the Mississippi.  Situated at the former site of the Sioux Village of Kaposia, South St. Paul is a small family friendly community nestled up to the big city.  Come walk the river trails and bike through the parks, view eagles and herons from the river bluffs, or fish and boat from the river pier.
